Laura Burhenn of indie-pop group the Mynabirds split to Portland, Oregon from D.C. to help in the creation of the Mynabirds’ first record What We Lose in the Fire We Gain in the Flood. The sophomore album Generals has a different flavor, with politically-charged lyrics. Check out “Body of Work”.
