The Trouble with Candyhands // Deerhoof

Deerhoof has seen a resurgence of activity lately with the announcement of their new album Breakup Song, now the San Francisco band has released the first song, “The Trouble With Candyhands.” The re-engineered sound on Breakup Song, has a Cuban influence to go with their noise pop sound, calling it “Cuban-flavored party-noise-energy music.” It’s a nice spin on things, check out Breakup Song on Polyvinyl Records on Sept. 4.
